Hero For Startups (HFS) is a pioneering initiative by Hero MotoCorp, an accelerator program designed to engage with and empower the startup ecosystem in India. Through this program, Hero, in collaboration with T-Hub, seeks to collaborate with startups to co-create innovative solutions that address critical challenges in the mobility sector.
By fostering an environment of collaboration, Hero aims to accelerate the growth of startups, providing them with the resources, mentorship, and support necessary to scale their solutions and contribute meaningfully to the future of mobility.
Hero MotoCorp, in collaboration with T-Hub, seeks to transform the mobility landscape by focusing on cutting-edge innovations that will redefine the future of transportation.
Startups must have a working prototype or a Minimum Viable Product (MVP).
The startup should demonstrate market readiness with some level of market validation, such as initial traction, pilot programs, or early users.
The startup should have a dedicated, full-time team with at least two co-founders or core team members. The team should have a clear vision and complementary skill sets relevant to the startup’s mission.
The startup must be a registered business entity in its country of operation. Preference will be given to startups registered in India or those with a significant market presence in India

The Hero For Startups program is designed to run over 10-12 months, with the following key phases:
The application will be opened on August 23rd at
the program launch event, followed by a rigorous evaluation and selection process.
Startups will be onboarded into the program and introduced to Hero’s
resources, facilities, and leadership.
Startups will participate in three distinct bootcamp tracks focusing on
technology readiness, capacity and capability building, and developing a sustainability
Roadmap.
Startups will work on developing their PoCs with continuous support
and guidance from Hero’s technical teams and leadership.
Successful PoCs will be evaluated for integration into Hero’s
product line and/or business and operational processes, with the potential for
large-scale deployment.
The program will culminate in a final showcase where startups present
their solutions, celebrate their successes and discuss potential next steps with Hero
MotoCorp
A Fuel Tube is a joint through which continuous flow of fuel takes place from the fuel tank to carburetor.
Generally 4 year is the average replacement time recommended for a fuel tube. In exceptional cases like unattended vehicle for over 6 months or more, fuel Hose need to be replaced.
The program, hosted by T-Hub and Hero MotoCorp, supports startups in developing Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) that align with Hero MotoCorp’s innovation goals across the mobility sector.
Selected startups receive mentorship, access to Hero MotoCorp’s resources, networking opportunities, and the chance to develop POCs with possible future integration or partnership opportunities.
Each cohort runs for approximately 10 months, with POC development phases ranging from 1 to 12 months depending on the startup's stage and project scope.
Yes, the program focuses on three innovation horizons: H1 (immediate solutions that can be built within 3 months), H2 (mid-term enhancements that can be built within 6 months), and H3 (long-term disruptive innovations that can be built within 12 months). Each cohort will tackle these areas, aligned with Hero MotoCorp's strategic goals.
Startups typically retain IP rights for their innovations, but specific agreements regarding collaboration and commercialization may be discussed based on Hero MotoCorp's interest in individual POCs.

The solution should be safe, secure & should ensure that cases of false unlocking of vehicles are taken care of.
Hero / Vida connected vehicles to increase exponentially in next 2 – 3 years. Data generated from vehicles offers a tremendous potential to be harnessed as a new revenue stream as well as for cost optimization across R&D and manufacturing plants.
– Create a digital twin of the vehicle on the cloud mimicking the vehicle diagnostic parameters along with other sanity parameters (GPS, Odo, vehicle status etc) whilst considering environmental scenarios. – There are instances of malfunction or defect codes reported by the vehicle. Current process makes the service team call the vehicle to the service center and then manually check for issues. – Once the issue is reported, if there is a requirement for software update, it is carried out using a tool. – For every ECU installed on the vehicle and it’s respective firmware, simulate how the vehicle will respond on new firmware update before OTA release. – For the above, write a new firmware, deploy it in the V-ECU framework, test it on bench, deploy it in the test vehicles and then deploy in production vehicles.
