The India Space Accelerator is bought to you by AWS, Minfy and T-Hub. The 14 week program has been structured to support Space startups in India bring their idea to life with global leaders. Startups will learn about building Space solutions and accelerating Innovation with AWS, how to securely bring their ideas to life on the AWS Cloud with AWS Partner Minfy, and learn critical lessons on establishing a business, building a product, getting funding and refining their pitch from T-Hub.

This program will also include mentors, a cohort of success founders form the India Space industry to share their stories and advice. We are committed to supporting startups in their pursuit of groundbreaking new space missions and pursue global opportunities.

Our goal is to empower startups across the global space industry to leverage cloud-based resources to accelerate innovation. The AWS Startup programs have a unique working backwards focus where we introduce our cohort of participating startups to large Fortune 500 customers, public sector customers, public-private organizations, venture capitalists, investors, and more. This helps startups develop a unique perspective into the needs and workings of the public sector so they can go to market faster, innovate for the right challenge, and scale their solutions.

The partnership between AWS, Minfy and T-Hub for this initiative has been structured to support Space startups in India achieve the most during the 14 week program, bringing their idea to life using cloud services to accelerate innovation, building in the cloud with AWS Partner Minfy and learn key lessons on establishing their business, getting funding and refining their pitch from T-Hub.

FAQs

The Accelerator will accept applications from all Space startups, from prototype stage and above
The program will be delivered in a hybrid model. Some physical attendance is required to get the most from the program and maximise opportunities to meet face to face with the teams, founders and partners involved.
Startups who are accepted will receive $5k in AWS credits, involvement in the intense, guided program on building your solution on cloud and getting it ready to pitch to investors and finding your first customer as well as mention in associated press releases. Startups who successfully graduate form the program will also be entered into the Alumni program and receive additional AWS credits benefits
Startups who actively participate, build a working solution and complete workshops will be eligible to graduate from the program.
Startups will be selected based on a range of criteria. We will evaluate factors such as your solution, the market opportunity and size. The application process will run through a series of questions to provide as mush information as possible to provide you every opportunity for success. As part of the application process startups will be asked to submit a Solution brief
  • It’s our version of an introductory meeting in a document format
  • A 3-page document or 10 slide presentation (.pdf format preferred), with a total file size not exceeding 2 MB
  • Information we’re looking for:
    • Description of your solution, what problem it solves & why you think it fits for the Space Accelerator
    • Unique aspects of your solution and the technology enablers to create that uniqueness
    • Your capabilities – Your core team and its unique strength
    • Your momentum to date – help us understand where you are in your development journey and some recent milestones and customer traction
Up to 20 Startups will be accepted to the program
To get the most from the program, founders need to be beyond the ideation stage.
To get the most out of the program, startups must have a CTO or technical lead in place.
